This online class outlines the basic characteristics of blockchain technology, gently introducing its key principles and applying these principles to common business situations. The class will explore situations where it makes sound business sense to deploy blockchain and also introduces some of key considerations you need to make before determining if blockchain offers the right “business fit”. No existing knowledge of blockchain is assumed in order to take part in this class, and participants will leave the class having a strong enough understanding of blockchain to confidently discuss its applicability in their own business sectors. Key concepts covered are:
